Having dinner and getting buzzed at Dovetail before heading out to a concert last night was a delight! The bar boy kept me entertained. The bar was bustling and he was hustling. This was my second time visiting and the service was insane. The staff definitely know what they are doing, kind and full of charm. All the dishes I’ve tried thus far have been above and beyond. From the Brussel sprouts to the bang bang shrimp to their vodka pasta, chicken parm and mochiko chicken- All very pleasant with their own distinct flavour . The ambiance definitely gives Cali Vibes. A place for sharing plates and making memories with friends.

I came here with my mom for a Mother’s Day dinner and we were so blown away when our amazing server, McKenzie, gave my mom a bouquet!! Honestly was the most special and sweetest thing ever :’) Thank you!! Delicious food too, I especially loved the Beef Tataki! The small plates menu in general was really outstanding. The affogato was also top tier. Just an all around exceptional meal from food to service, and we will be back asap!

Amazing happy hour menu! Very cool atmosphere and great variety on their happy hour menu for food and drinks with reasonable prices. We shared the spicy vodka pasta, the salmon smash burger, and brussels - all 3 dishes were fantastic! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

I went here the first time. It was a bit late at night, and the waitress said there were 10 minutes left to the last call. I had tuna and two larger beers. The food was yummy, and the beer was super cold. I liked both. All workers are very friendly there. I will be there more than once.

Great pasta and the beef tataki was superb. I also loved the lemon tiramisu. My fiend’s spicy vodca pasta was also great. Loved their heated patio, and very much appreciated that they were very accommodating with the temperature, as my friend and I started to feel a little too warm. Perfect place to be on a snowy day.

We had 4 different kinds of pasta and I could tell all of them were great, but the Spicy Vodka was super. Maybe you should book your table in advance cause they are busy most of the time.

We came here for our anniversary dinner. The best item was the spicy vodka pasta, definitely 10/10. The rotating plant based pasta was ok. I'm not a fan of the bang bang shrimp. Affogato was amazing! We love the interior of this restaurant. Will come back to try the carbonara and eat the spicy vodka again!

It’s a lovely space right in the middle of yaletown. The service is exceptional (sometimes even overwhelming with 4-5 different service touch points). Also, the servers do fit a certain type haha (it’s very interesting to see, you’ll know what I mean when you visit once). Here’s what we tried: Mochiko chicken (5/5) Bang Bang Shrimp (3/5) Brussels (4/5) Mushroom Pasta (5/5)
